About Ginger's Decorations

Ginger’s Decorations, a full service special events design service, is owned and operated by Ginger & Buddy Yount. After decorating their daughter’s wedding in 1993 they continued to occasionally decorate for family and friends. By 1995 Ginger decided it was time to consider decorating for weddings and special events as a full time business. She retired from teaching and opened a design studio in Shelbyville, KY. Together, for fifteen years, Buddy and Ginger have devoted their skills and experience to helping customers realize their fanciful dreams of a “Wow” wedding, realize their desires for a lovely anniversary party, realize their imagined gorgeous birthday party and/or realize their dreams of a derby party with impeccable decorations. The Younts are a Christian couple who love being able to share their God given talents with others. Their hearts overflow with joy when the customer exclaims that the personal devotion to detail and exquisite decorations far exceeded expectations.
